How to Use Free NVIDIA NIM API with SillyTavern
Get the NVIDIA NIM API Key
https://build.nvidia.com/There is a login button in the upper right corner
I used a gmail account
If you don't have an account, it will prompt you to create one.
Detailed steps are omitted.
To save time, I just logged in directly with a Google account.
It will ask you to verify your email. You will receive a verification email in your inbox.
After creating the account and logging in, click the icon in the upper right corner, then API Keys
After just registering the account, you cannot create an API Key yet
Note the banner at the top of the page asking you to verify your account.
Click it, you need to verify your phone number.

After verifying the phone number, you can see the Generate API Keys button.
Save your API Key, it will only be shown once

Configure the API
Set it to Custom (OpenAI-compatible)

Connect
If the connection is successful, it should look like the following.
